Quelques Propriétés Cachées des Nombres

L'objet de l'arithmétique est l'étude des nombres entiers, une activité qui nous renvoie jusqu'à Euclide, et Diophante, renaît de ses cendres avec Euler et Fermat mais décolle véritablement avec les travaux de Gauss. Les applications concrètes apparaîssent au 20 siècle ! La mystérieuse loi de réciprocité quadratique énoncée par Legendre, généralisée par Eisenstein puis Artin donne naissance à la théorie du corps de classe de Hilbert... La démonstration de cette proposition constitue une excellente initiation aux propriétées cachées des nombres.
